Yushokai Zaitaku Kurinikku Shinjuku
Yushokai Zaitaku Clinic Shinjuku sits on the 9th floor of the Forecast Shinjuku Avenue building, just a short walk from Shinjuku Station’s south exit. Despite the “Zaitaku” (home visit) branding of the parent organization, this location focuses on dental care — so don’t let the name confuse you.
The clinic is part of the larger Yushokai medical group, which has a reasonably professional online presence with some English content on their dental care pages. That said, don’t assume a fully bilingual front desk. English capability on the ground is unconfirmed, so go in prepared — bring a translation app, have your insurance card ready, and consider writing down your symptoms in Japanese beforehand.
Shinjuku is one of the better areas to be navigating healthcare as an expat — lots of options nearby if this one doesn’t pan out. But if you’re already in the neighborhood and need a dental appointment, this is a legitimate, established clinic worth trying.
Patient Feedback
Patient feedback specific to this clinic is limited publicly, which isn’t unusual for Japanese dental practices outside major review platforms. The Yushokai group overall has a reputation for organized, systematic care. Expect a fairly standard Japanese dental clinic experience: punctual, methodical, not a lot of small talk. Wait times at Japanese dental clinics tend to be reasonable when you book ahead. Walk-ins are less predictable.
English Language Proficiency
For translating forms, prescriptions, or discharge summaries, Jozu is worth having on your phone.
