But whether that translates to a smooth English consultation in person is genuinely unclear. Reception staff English ability is unknown, and there’s no confirmed interpreter service or English-speaking doctor on staff. If your Japanese is limited, bring a translation app or a bilingual friend. That said, the Yoyogi-Hachiman area is low-stress compared to central Shibuya, and a smaller neighborhood clinic often means less chaos and shorter waits than a big hospital.
