Tsujikodomo Clinic is a pediatric practice on the second floor of a building in the Kinuta area of Setagaya — a residential part of western Tokyo popular with families, including expats. It handles the standard range of kids’ health needs: checkups, vaccinations, sick visits, and developmental concerns.

The clinic has some English-language content on its website, which is a decent sign, but that doesn’t automatically mean the staff speak fluent English during appointments. Realistically, this is a Japanese neighborhood clinic where Japanese is the working language. A translation app will help. If you have a bilingual Japanese friend or partner who can call ahead, that’s worth doing before your first visit.

That said, Setagaya has a solid expat family community, and clinics in this area are generally used to seeing foreign faces. The pediatrician handles infants through school-age kids. Worth a direct call or email to gauge the English situation before you show up with a sick toddler.
