Terada Clinic
Terada Clinic is a neighborhood internal medicine clinic in Nagasaki, Toshima — a quiet residential pocket of northwest Tokyo that most expats never end up in unless they actually live nearby. The clinic sits on the ground floor of the Terada Building, which tells you pretty much everything about the scale: this is a local doctor’s office, not a big hospital setup.
The website (sports-clinic.com, oddly enough) does have some English content, which suggests at least some awareness of non-Japanese patients. But “some English online” and “walk in and get seen in English” are very different things. Full English service isn’t confirmed, so if your Japanese is nonexistent, bring a translation app or a bilingual friend as backup.
Internal medicine here means the everyday stuff — colds, fatigue, chronic condition management, referrals. Don’t expect specialist procedures on-site. If you’re in the Toshima area and need a regular GP-style doctor, this is worth a try, but go in with realistic expectations about the language situation.

Patient feedback is limited in English-language sources, which itself says something — this clinic draws mostly from the local Japanese community. Those who have visited describe it as a no-frills neighborhood clinic: relatively short waits compared to larger hospitals, a straightforward consultation style, and a doctor who covers the basics efficiently. Don’t expect a lot of hand-holding or extended explanations. It functions well as a regular local GP if you know what you need and can communicate it.
