Tanaka Shika
Tanaka Shika is a small dental clinic tucked into a residential pocket of Mejiro — that quiet, leafy part of Toshima that feels more like a neighborhood than a city ward. The clinic has some English content on its website, which is a decent sign — they’re at least aware that non-Japanese patients exist. But “English on the website” doesn’t automatically mean fluent English at the front desk. If you go, bring your best translation app or a Japanese-speaking friend for anything beyond pointing at a tooth. For routine cleanings or straightforward fixes, you’ll probably manage. Complex treatment discussions will need more prep.
