Tamasakai Orenji Shika
Tamasakai Orenji Shika (多摩境オレンジ歯科) is a general dental clinic tucked into the first floor of the Copio Tamasakai shopping complex in Machida, in the southwestern corner of Tokyo. It’s part of the Orange Group dental network, so there’s some institutional backing behind it — not a solo practitioner operation.
For English speakers, they have conversational English capability, which means someone on staff can get through a basic consultation without you needing to mime a toothache. Don’t expect full clinical discussions in English, but routine cleanings, fillings, and checkups should be manageable. Having a translation app ready for anything complex is still smart.
The clinic covers standard dental services — cleanings, cavities, crowns, extractions. It’s a neighborhood dental office, not a specialty center. The Copio building location makes it easy to find and has parking, which matters more out here in Machida than it would in central Tokyo. If you live or work in the Tama area and need a dentist who won’t completely blank when you walk in speaking English, this is a reasonable option.
Patient Feedback
Patient feedback points to a calm, unhurried atmosphere — not the kind of place that rushes you through. Staff are generally described as thorough during checkups, and the clinic’s affiliation with the Orange Group means consistent protocols. Wait times are typically reasonable for a suburban clinic. The shopping mall location makes it convenient to combine with errands. Nothing flashy, but reliable and approachable — which is really what you want when someone is drilling your teeth.
English Language Proficiency
