Subaru Children's Clinic

Subaru Children’s Clinic is a pediatric-only practice on the second floor of Atlas Brands Tower Mikawasjima, right in Higashi-Nippori, Arakawa. It’s a residential, working-class part of northeast Tokyo — not a lot of international infrastructure nearby, so this isn’t a clinic built around expat needs. They handle standard pediatric care: checkups, vaccinations, sick visits, developmental concerns.

The clinic has some English-language content on their website, which is a decent sign, but that doesn’t mean the doctors or front desk are fully conversational in English. Realistically, you’d want to come prepared — a translation app, a Japanese-speaking friend if possible, or at minimum your child’s medical history written out in simple terms. For families already settled in Arakawa, this is likely your most convenient local option. For expats who need reliable English communication, it’s worth calling ahead to gauge comfort levels before showing up with a sick kid.
