Shinegota Iwata Ganka is a small ophthalmology clinic on the second floor of a building in Nakano’s Eharacho neighborhood — not exactly central, but close to Shin-Egota Station on the Toei Oedo Line. It handles the usual range of eye care: glasses and contact prescriptions, dry eye, glaucoma screening, cataract consultations. The clinic has some English on its website, which is a better sign than nothing, but don’t assume the front desk runs smoothly in English.
