This is a standard neighborhood ophthalmology clinic covering the usual range: vision checks, glaucoma screening, dry eye, contact lens prescriptions, and general eye complaints.

The clinic has some English on its website, which is a decent sign, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll walk in and have a smooth conversation in English. Realistically, this is a Japanese-first practice. Staff may have limited English, and your mileage will vary depending on who’s at reception that day. If your eye issue is simple — redness, a prescription renewal, a floater you want checked — you can probably manage with a translation app and patience. For anything more complex or surgical, you’d want to be more confident about communication before booking.
