Shibuya KU Shika
Shibuya KU Shika sits on the ground floor of the A-PLACE Minami-Daita building in the quieter, more residential southern pocket of Shibuya — less chaotic than the station area, but still walkable. It’s a general dental clinic run under the Keiwa-kai medical corporation, covering the usual range: cleanings, fillings, implants, orthodontics.
Their website has some English-facing content, which is a decent sign — it suggests they’re at least aware that non-Japanese patients exist. But “some English online” doesn’t automatically mean fluent staff at the front desk. Expect Japanese to be the working language. If your dental Japanese is nonexistent, bring a translation app or a bilingual friend. That said, dentistry is one of those specialties where you can get surprisingly far on pointing at a tooth and making a pained face.
Appointment booking appears to be available online through their site. Worth checking before you call.
Patient Feedback
Patient feedback points to a clean, modern setup with reasonably short wait times compared to busier Shibuya clinics. Dentists are described as thorough and unhurried — the kind of practice that explains what they’re doing rather than just getting on with it. The southern Shibuya location keeps the foot traffic lower than station-adjacent clinics. No strong pattern of English-language complaints, but no confirmed fluent English staff either.
