Sanntamazaitaku Clinic is a dermatology practice on the second floor of the Minai Building in Tachikawa, west Tokyo. Tachikawa is well-connected on the Chuo Line, so this isn’t as remote as the address might suggest. The clinic’s website has some English-language content, which is a decent sign, but don’t assume that means fluent English-speaking staff are waiting at reception. Walk-in comfort for non-Japanese speakers is uncertain. Bring a translation app, have your symptoms written out in Japanese, and manage expectations accordingly. That said, dermatology is one of the more expat-friendly specialties — skin conditions translate visually, which takes some pressure off the language barrier. This is a solid option if you’re based in the Tama area and need a local skin clinic without trekking into central Tokyo.
