Sancha Shika
Sancha Shika is a dental clinic on the second floor of Arc Excel Plaza Hiei in Sangenjaya, one of Setagaya’s most livable neighborhoods for expats. The area is walkable, unpretentious, and well-connected — exactly the kind of place you’d want a regular dentist.
The clinic handles standard dental work: cleanings, fillings, crowns, and general oral care. Staff have conversational English, so you’re not going to be completely lost at reception or in the chair. It won’t be a fully bilingual experience, but basic explanations and back-and-forth are manageable without pulling out Google Translate every five minutes.
If you live in Setagaya or commute through Sangenjaya, this is a solid neighborhood dentist option where the English barrier is low enough to handle routine care without stress.
