Ohjima Ganka is a neighborhood eye clinic sitting on the ground floor of a residential mansion building in Ojima, Koto Ward. This is not a big hospital ophthalmology department — it’s a local, single-specialty practice handling the full range of eye care: glasses and contact lens prescriptions, glaucoma screening, cataract consultations, dry eye, and general checkups.

The clinic has some English content on its website, which is a decent sign, but don’t walk in expecting a fully bilingual operation. Reception is likely Japanese-only or limited English at best. A translation app will serve you well here. That said, eye exams involve a lot of equipment-guided testing, which reduces the language barrier more than you’d expect — the doctor points, you look, results appear on a screen.
