Ogawa Kodomo Clinic

Ogawa Kodomo Clinic is a small dermatology practice tucked into the second floor of Ogawa Heim, a residential building in Asakusabashi, Taito. Despite the “Kodomo” (children) in the name, this is a general dermatology clinic — don’t let that throw you off.

The clinic has some English content on its website, which is a decent sign, but that doesn’t automatically mean you’ll walk in and have a smooth English conversation with reception. Realistically, this is a local neighborhood clinic. The doctor may have basic English, or they may not. Come prepared with a translation app, a written summary of your symptoms in Japanese, or a Japanese-speaking friend if you can manage it.

Location-wise, Asakusabashi is easy to reach — it’s a short walk from Asakusabashi Station on the Sobu Line or Toei Asakusa Line. The area is quiet and residential compared to nearby Akihabara, so the clinic has that local, unhurried feel rather than a big city medical center vibe.
