Nishigori Shikaiin

Nishigori Shikaiin is a small neighborhood dental clinic sitting on the ground floor of Tsukamoto Building in Kamimeguro — a five-minute walk from Nakameguro Station. It’s a general dentistry practice covering the usual bases: cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns, and basic cosmetic work.

The clinic has some English content on its website, which is a decent sign, but don’t expect a fully bilingual operation. Reception and clinical staff may have limited conversational English. If your Japanese is non-existent, bring a translation app or a Japanese-speaking friend for anything complicated — a routine cleaning you could probably manage, but a detailed treatment plan discussion is another story.

This is a local clinic, not an international health center. It’s not set up specifically for expats, but it’s not hostile to them either. The Nakameguro area has enough international residents that staff are probably used to the occasional non-Japanese patient walking in. Worth a call or email before booking to test the communication waters.
