Nasushikaiin Ougi
Nasushikaiin Ougi is a dental clinic tucked into the ground floor of the Verge Ougi building in Adachi Ward, northeast Tokyo. It’s a neighborhood practice — not a flashy international clinic, not a tourist-facing operation — run under the Sanjinkai medical corporation alongside its sister location in Nasu.
They handle the standard range of dental work: cleanings, fillings, extractions, implants, orthodontics. Nothing exotic, but solid general dentistry coverage.
English is conversational here, not fluent. Reception can get through the basics, and they have some English-language materials available. You’re not going to need a full-time interpreter, but bringing a list of your symptoms or dental history in Japanese wouldn’t hurt. Google Translate will cover any gaps without drama.
Adachi isn’t the most expat-dense ward in Tokyo, so this clinic isn’t set up for a constant stream of foreign patients — but they’re clearly not startled by them either. If you live or work in the area, it’s a practical, accessible option.
Patient Feedback
Patients describe a calm, no-frills environment without long waits. The dentists are thorough and take time to explain what they’re doing — helpful when you’re already navigating language differences. It’s a smaller practice, so appointments feel less rushed than bigger urban clinics. Nothing fancy, but the work gets done properly and the staff don’t seem rattled by foreign patients walking in.
