Nakamagome Ogawa Naika is a neighborhood internal medicine clinic sitting in the residential backstreets of Ota Ward, a quieter part of south Tokyo that most expats never wander into unless they actually live there. It handles the everyday stuff — colds, chronic conditions, checkups, lifestyle disease management — the kind of clinic you want on speed dial when something’s been bothering you for a week and you’re not sure if it’s serious.

The website has some English content, which is a decent sign that they’re at least aware foreign patients exist. But “some English online” doesn’t automatically mean smooth English conversation at the front desk. This is a small local clinic, not an international medical center. If your Japanese is zero, bring a translation app or a Japanese-speaking friend to be safe.
