Murao Shika sits on the second floor of the Kudanshita ASN Building in Chiyoda — a short walk from Kudanshita Station and right in the middle of one of Tokyo’s more business-heavy neighborhoods. It’s a general dental clinic handling the usual range of checkups, cleanings, fillings, and likely cosmetic work.

The website has some English-language content, which is a decent sign, but that doesn’t automatically mean your appointment will go smoothly in English. This is a Japanese-run neighborhood dental practice, not an international clinic. If your Japanese is limited, you’ll want to come prepared — a translation app, written notes about your symptoms, and patience will help. Staff may have basic English ability, but don’t count on a fluent consultation.

That said, the Kudanshita area sees enough international foot traffic that clinics here tend to be more accustomed to foreign patients than somewhere out in the suburbs.
