The website has some English-language content, which is a decent sign, but don’t show up expecting fluent English conversation at reception. This is Tachikawa, not Shinjuku — prepare a translation app and have your symptoms written out in Japanese if you can. That said, ophthalmology lends itself to showing rather than explaining, so communication barriers are more manageable here than at, say, a psychiatry clinic.

Tachikawa is well-connected — it’s a major hub on the JR Chuo Line — so getting here from central Tokyo is straightforward. If you’re living in western Tokyo and need a local eye clinic for routine care, this is a reasonable option. Just don’t expect a bilingual experience.
