Mizuno Clinic is a neighborhood internal medicine practice sitting on the second floor of Sakura Heights in Arakawa — one of Tokyo’s quieter, more residential wards. This is the kind of local clinic that handles the everyday stuff: colds, chronic condition management, checkups, referrals. Not a big hospital, not a specialist center. Just solid general medicine close to where people actually live in that part of the city.

Their website has some English-language content, which is a decent sign, but that doesn’t automatically mean you’ll walk in and have a smooth English conversation at the front desk. Arakawa isn’t Minato or Shinjuku — English fluency at local clinics here tends to be limited. A translation app or a Japanese-speaking friend would be a sensible backup, especially for anything beyond basic symptoms. If your Japanese is functional, or you’re comfortable pointing and showing written text on your phone, you’ll probably manage fine. For complex medical conversations, come prepared.
