Miyoshi Shika Clinic is a neighborhood dental clinic tucked into the first floor of a residential building in Higashi-Mukojima, Sumida. This is deep east Tokyo — not the expat-dense areas of Minato or Shinjuku — so don’t expect a bilingual front desk as a given. The clinic has some English content on its website, which is a decent sign, but whether that translates to a smooth English-language appointment is genuinely unclear. Come prepared with a translation app and your symptoms written out in Japanese if possible. That said, for expats living in Sumida or the surrounding shitamachi neighborhoods who need a local dentist without trekking across town, this is worth knowing about. Standard dental services, accessible location, and a small independent practice feel. Not a foreigner-specialist clinic, but not aggressively unwelcoming either.
