The clinic has some English content on its website, which is a decent sign, but that doesn’t guarantee the front desk can hold a full conversation in English. Hachioji isn’t exactly expat central, so walk in expecting Japanese-first service. A translation app and your basic symptom vocabulary written down will go a long way. That said, orthopedic issues are often diagnosable through imaging and physical examination — language barriers matter less here than at, say, a psychiatry clinic.
