Mikami Kodomo Clinic

Mikami Kodomo Clinic is a pediatric clinic tucked into the Santecia Building in Roku-machi, Adachi Ward — one of Tokyo’s more residential, less central neighborhoods. It’s a dedicated kids’ clinic, so this is where you go for checkups, vaccinations, fevers, rashes, and the usual parade of childhood illnesses.

The website has some English content, which is a decent sign that they’re at least aware foreign patients exist. But “some English online” doesn’t automatically mean smooth English communication at the front desk or during consultations. Go in with realistic expectations — bring a translation app, have your child’s medical history written out simply, and don’t assume the staff will be fluent.

Adachi isn’t the most expat-dense part of Tokyo, so this clinic likely sees fewer international patients than clinics in Minato or Shinjuku. That can cut both ways: less experience with non-Japanese patients, but also shorter waits and a more neighborhood feel.
