KURIHARA IINN
Kurihara Iinn is a combined internal medicine and dental clinic (yes, both under one roof) sitting in Mizuho Town, out in Nishitama in western Tokyo. This is proper suburban territory — not the expat bubble of Minato or Shinjuku. The clinic has some English on its website, which is a decent sign, but don’t assume that means smooth English-language consultations are guaranteed. Call ahead or bring a Japanese-speaking friend if your Japanese is limited. That said, a dual internal medicine and dental setup is genuinely convenient if you want to handle multiple health concerns at one practice. Best suited for expats who live or work in the Haijima/Hakonejosaki area rather than anyone commuting across Tokyo for it.
Patient Feedback
Patient feedback points to a straightforward, no-frills neighborhood clinic. Locals mention relatively reasonable wait times for a general practice and describe the doctors as thorough rather than rushed. The combined medical-dental setup gets practical appreciation. Nothing flashy here — it’s a community clinic doing its job. Expat-specific feedback is thin, which tells you most of the patient base is local Japanese residents.
