Kokusai Shika Kurinikku
Kokusai Shika Clinic (“International Dental Clinic” — the name does the talking) sits on the 9th floor of the Amagi Building in Roppongi, Minato. The location alone signals it’s used to seeing foreigners. Roppongi is one of Tokyo’s most international neighborhoods, so dental practices here tend to have at least some English-language experience, even if it’s not always airtight.
The website has English content, which is a decent sign — it means they’ve thought about non-Japanese patients. But “website has English” and “staff can walk you through a treatment plan in English” are two different things. Don’t assume the front desk is fluent. Come prepared with your dental history written out, and if you need to discuss something complex like implants or orthodontics, call ahead to confirm English availability for that specific appointment.
Standard dental services. Roppongi address. Ninth floor, so you’re not walking past a rice cooker display to find it. Practical for expats in Minato, Azabu, or Hiroo who don’t want to trek across the city just to get a filling.
Patient Feedback
Patient feedback points to a fairly smooth experience for routine work — cleanings, checkups, basic fillings. The Roppongi location means staff have exposure to foreign patients, and the “international” branding isn’t purely cosmetic. Wait times appear reasonable. For more involved treatment, experiences vary depending on which staff member you get. Not a lot of English-language reviews in the wild, which makes it harder to call definitively — but no major red flags either.
