Kitasando Clinic is a neighborhood internal medicine practice tucked into Sendagaya, just south of the Kitasando area in Shibuya. It handles the everyday stuff — colds, chronic conditions, general checkups, referrals — the kind of clinic you want to know about before you actually need it.

The website has some English content, which is a decent sign, but don’t assume you’ll walk in and have a fully English conversation. Reception may have limited English. If your Japanese is nonexistent, bring a translation app or a Japanese-speaking friend for anything beyond the basics. For simple symptoms with a bit of pointing and phone-translating, you’d probably manage.

It’s a small, local clinic — not a fancy expat-facing setup, not a hospital. That’s fine. Sometimes you just need a doctor nearby who can check your blood pressure, renew a prescription, or figure out what’s going on with that cough. Kitasando fills that role for the Shibuya area without the crowds of a big hospital.
