Kitanodai Byoin is a dental clinic run by the Seiunkai medical corporation, sitting out in Hachioji — the western edge of Tokyo, far from the crowded city center. That’s a real commute if you’re based in Shinjuku or Shibuya, so this one makes most sense if you live or work in the Hachioji area.

The clinic has some English content on its website, which is a decent sign, but don’t assume that translates to fluent English-speaking staff at the front desk. It likely doesn’t. You’ll probably need a translation app for anything beyond the basics, and bringing a Japanese-speaking friend for your first visit is a smart move. That said, dental care in Japan is generally excellent, and the clinical quality here is expected to meet that standard. For routine checkups, fillings, or cleanings, the language barrier is manageable — pointing and gesturing gets you far in a dental chair.
