Kamikawa Clinic is a pediatrics practice tucked into the third floor of Medical Community Kitami, a small medical building in Setagaya’s quiet residential Kitami neighborhood. It’s the kind of local kids’ clinic that serves the surrounding families — think checkups, vaccinations, fevers, and the usual childhood stuff rather than complex specialist care.

The clinic has some English content on its website, which is a decent sign, but don’t assume you’ll walk in and have a smooth English conversation at reception. Reality is probably somewhere between “they’ll try” and “bring a translation app just in case.” For routine pediatric visits, that’s usually workable — pointing at a rash or explaining a fever gets the job done. For anything nuanced, having a bilingual friend on standby or using Google Translate’s camera mode on forms would be smart.

Setagaya is home to a fair number of expat families, so clinics here tend to have at least some experience with non-Japanese patients. Nearest station is Kitami on the Odakyu Setagaya Line.
