IZUMI Clinic is a neighborhood internal medicine clinic in Tachikawa, sitting on the ground floor of the Sumisho ASK Building near Tachikawa Station. This is a local Japanese clinic doing standard internal medicine work — think chronic disease management, general checkups, colds, blood pressure, that kind of thing. It’s not a foreigner-focused expat clinic, and full English service isn’t confirmed. Their website has some English-language content, which is a good sign, but don’t assume you’ll walk in and have a smooth English conversation at reception. Come prepared: translation app on your phone, key symptoms written out in Japanese. That said, Tachikawa is a real neighborhood with real people, and a local clinic like this can be genuinely useful if you’re living in the western Tokyo area and need a regular GP-style doctor rather than a pricey expat clinic in central Tokyo.
