Ikebukurohifuka

Ikebukuro Hifuka is a dermatology clinic on the second floor of the Kanai Building in Minami-Ikebukuro, a short walk from one of Tokyo’s busiest stations. It operates under the Medical Partners corporation and handles the usual skin concerns: acne, eczema, rashes, moles, and cosmetic treatments.

The clinic has some English content on its website, which is a decent sign — it means they’ve thought about non-Japanese patients at least a little. But “English website content” doesn’t automatically mean smooth English communication at the front desk. Realistically, you’ll want to prepare a written description of your symptoms in Japanese or have a translation app ready. The doctor may have functional English, but don’t count on a fully English consultation.

It’s a convenient location if you’re living or working around Ikebukuro. Toshima ward has a solid expat population, so clinics here tend to be more accustomed to foreign patients than in some quieter neighborhoods. Standard Japanese dermatology setup — expect efficient, no-frills care.
