Higashimatsubara Shika sits on the ground floor of a residential apartment building in the quiet Matsubara neighborhood of Setagaya — not a flashy clinic, but a neighborhood dental practice that’s been serving local families for years. The parent organization, Maruha Dental, puts some effort into their web presence including content that gestures toward English accessibility, but don’t assume you’ll walk in and have a fully bilingual experience. This is still a Japanese dental clinic first. That said, Setagaya has a reasonably international population, and the clinic handles standard dental work — checkups, cleanings, fillings, orthodontics — competently. Closest station is Higashimatsubara on the Keio Inokashira Line. If your Japanese is zero, bring a translation app and write down your symptoms beforehand.
