Greenhill Clinic is a neighborhood internal medicine clinic tucked into the first floor of Sun City Machida Building 3 in Machida’s Onoji area — not exactly central Tokyo, but well out in the western suburbs near Tama. It’s a standard general practice setup under the Tamakyuryo medical group, handling the everyday stuff: checkups, chronic disease management, colds, referrals. The website has some English-language content, which is a decent sign, but that doesn’t guarantee the reception desk or doctors will switch into English mid-appointment. Machida has a growing expat population, so clinics here are increasingly aware that non-Japanese patients exist — but “aware” and “fluent” are different things. Bring a translation app as backup. Good option if you’re living in the Machida or Tama area and need a reliable GP-style clinic without trekking into Shinjuku.
