Aquakids Clinic is a dedicated pediatric clinic on the 5th floor of the FIRSTA I building in Minami-Koiwa, Edogawa — not the most central part of Tokyo, but a real neighborhood where families actually live. It’s a kids-only setup, so you’re not sharing a waiting room with coughing salarymen. The clinic has some English content on its website, which is a decent sign, but don’t assume you’ll walk in and have a fluent English conversation with reception. Reality is probably closer to basic English with goodwill on both sides. If your Japanese is zero, bring a translation app and write down your child’s symptoms beforehand. For expat families living in or around Edogawa, this is a genuinely useful local option for routine pediatric care — vaccinations, checkups, fevers, that kind of thing. Not a foreigner-specialist clinic, but not hostile to non-Japanese speakers either.
