Aozora Tanashi Clinic is a dermatology practice on the third floor of the Maruyoshi Building in Tanashi, Nishitokyo — a quieter residential part of western Tokyo that doesn’t see many foreign patients. They handle the full range of skin conditions: acne, eczema, rashes, moles, and general skin concerns.

Their website has some English-language content, which is a decent sign, but don’t assume that means fluent English-speaking staff at reception or in the consultation room. Realistically, you’ll want to come prepared — a translation app, written notes about your symptoms in Japanese, or a Japanese-speaking friend wouldn’t hurt.

That said, dermatology appointments tend to be more manageable language barriers than, say, internal medicine — you can point at things, show photos, and a lot of the interaction is visual. If you live in Nishitokyo or the surrounding Tama area and need a local skin clinic without trekking into central Tokyo, this is a reasonable option worth trying.
