Total Skin Care Clinic Ginza
Total Skin Care Clinic Ginza sits on the ground floor of Ginza Shochiku Square in Tsukiji, right on the edge of where Ginza bleeds into the older, quieter part of Chuo. It’s a dedicated dermatology clinic — think skin conditions, cosmetic treatments, and general skin health, not a general hospital with a derm wing bolted on.
Their website has some English content, which is a decent sign, but don’t assume the front desk will hold a full conversation with you. You’ll likely want to come prepared — have your symptoms written down, use Google Translate if needed, and don’t expect English-language paperwork. That said, this is a specialist clinic, and specialist clinics in Japan often get by with pointing, visuals, and showing photos of skin issues. Dermatology actually translates reasonably well without fluent conversation.
Tsukiji Station (Hibiya Line) is the closest stop. Higashi-Ginza is also walkable. The Ginza address sounds fancy but the Tsukiji end is pretty no-nonsense.
Patient Feedback
Patient feedback points to a focused, efficient clinic rather than a warm hand-holding experience. Doctors are thorough with diagnosis and tend to explain conditions clearly — often using visuals or pointing to affected areas, which helps non-Japanese speakers follow along. Wait times can run long during peak hours. The ground-floor location makes it easy to find. Patients with chronic skin conditions seem to return regularly, which says something.
English Language Proficiency
For translating forms, prescriptions, or discharge summaries, Jozu is worth having on your phone.
