Tokyo Chuo Cosmetic Sugery Jiyugaoka Clinic
TCB Tokyo Chuo Cosmetic Surgery Jiyugaoka is a branch of one of Japan’s bigger cosmetic clinic chains, sitting on the 5th floor of a building a short walk from Jiyugaoka Station in Meguro. The focus here is cosmetic procedures — think double eyelid surgery, skin treatments, anti-aging injectables, and similar aesthetic work rather than general dermatology or rashes and eczema.
The clinic has conversational English capability, which for a cosmetic chain in Tokyo is actually more useful than it sounds — staff can get through a consultation without you both staring at Google Translate the whole time. That said, this isn’t a fully bilingual setup. Expect some English, not a seamless English-language experience.
Jiyugaoka itself is a pleasant, low-key neighborhood — easy to get to from Shibuya or Meguro, and not the kind of place you’ll feel rushed out of. If you’re looking for cosmetic work and want somewhere that won’t completely lose you in translation, this is a reasonable option.
Patient Feedback
Being part of the TCB chain means a fairly standardized experience — efficient intake, clear pricing structure, and consultations that don’t drag on. Patients generally report staff are approachable and don’t make you feel judged for asking questions. Wait times are typically reasonable. The cosmetic focus means doctors are used to explaining procedures visually, which helps when language gets technical. Not the most personal boutique experience, but consistent and professional.
